Meals for Members

Members support each other by preparing a meal to give to another member in need due to illness, new baby, or other personal crisis.

Book Discussion

Enjoy reading a good book? Come and add your two cents to the discussion.

Summer in the Parks

During the summer, Family Friends meets at various parks to enjoy the sunshine and warm weather. We also host day trips to local zoos, museum, farms, and other family-friendly locations throughout the summer.

Moms’/Parents’ Night Out

We know just how important it is to be able to get out and spend time with your peers without your beloved children. We hold Moms’ Night Out monthly at local restaurants. Occasionally throughout the year we also host Parents’ Night Out, allowing both parents to enjoy the evening.

Halloween Party/Valentine's Day Party

The Halloween and Valentine’s Day parties are our biggest social events of the year. At B.R.A.T.Z., we have crafts, parades, story time, music, treats, games, and prizes—fun for the whole family! We host other theme-based parties throughout the year.

Share Your Special Interest/Talent/Skill/Hobby

Do you play an instrument, enjoy a type of dance, collect rocks or butterflies, or speak another language? Do you practice a profession that children would like to learn about or visit? Come share your talent or interest with a hands-on demonstration and lesson.

Develop Your Own Program

All programs are run by members volunteering their time. No experience is required - just enthusiasm for the topic and an interest in sharing it with the children.
