Playgroups
Volunteers are needed to open and close playgroup. Playgroups meet throughout the school year and then close for the summer while we enjoy our extensive Summer in the Parks program. In the winter playgroups do not open on bad weather days when Metuchen Schools are closed; they are closed on major holidays.
Structured Playgroup, Mondays, 10 am – noon at Birthdays for B.R.A.T.Z. at 24 Jersey Avenue in Metuchen

Come with your child/children for a morning of play, music, crafts, snacks and circle time. Geared for ages birth to six. The playgroup provides a safe environment where you can meet other parents of young children, make friends, and socialize!

All-Ages Playgroup, Wednesdays, 10 am - noon at Birthdays for B.R.A.T.Z. at 24 Jersey Avenue in Metuchen.

Stop by for unstructured floor play and socializing. Don’t be shy if you have a young baby. Our playgroups are for the parents as well as the kids. Join us for some adult conversation!

FROM ROUTE 27 NORTH: Proceed toward Metuchen - 1st light after the Route 287 overpass is Bridge Street - make a left onto Bridge Street - Next light make right onto New Durham Rd. and a quick left onto John Street. Proceed to end and make a right onto Durham Avenue. B.R.A.T.Z. is located 1/4 mile on left side behind Krauszer's Food Store. Turn into the parking lot just after Krauszer’s, and park near the building that also houses the Montessori School.
FROM ROUTE 27 SOUTH: Proceed past Main Street in Metuchen - you will see Friendly's Ice Cream Store on right side. Make a right at 2nd light after Friendly's onto Central Avenue. Next light make a left on Durham Avenue. B.R.A.T.Z. is located on right side behind Krauszer's Food Store. Turn into the parking lot just before Krauszer’s, and park near the building that also houses the Montessori School.
